I have been off the radar for a long time now. I guess, adding blog entries (particularly tunecasts) is the kinda thing that I have to be in the mood for. In general, I am more about playing around with the technical stuff, and evomatics is the result of that play. Well, it hit me once again today. After noticing recent traffic ups from my webserver log, I felt bad about neglecting my blog. Here a short in between, just to sooth the bad vibes. Muenster is not a huge city. Most people from other parts of the world have never heard of it; It is quiet and quaint. It is full of bikes, students and catholics. The main employer is the university (the third biggest in Germany). It is an obscure, mid-sized city in the heart of Europa. Beyond all that, it’s the place I live. One funky tune

This is just a quick tunecast. About one year ago, while standing around in en-vouge kinda department store, I picked up this mildly familiar tune seeping from the sound system. I searched for a speaker, and positioned myself below the sound hole. And what did I pick up? I caught “Been caught stealing”, originally from
Janes Addication, being done over by some funky outfit. Man, this was some smooth work. Moog bass, some serious brass and brilliant, lazy drums; the most brilliant bridge – goes right to the legs. Anyways… I sucked up the song and approached the outfitted lady. She was useless. Didn’t have a clue. Right. So when I was back at the headquarters, I went searching.
